This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, the server automatically processes technical access data: your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page, browser type and operating system, and the referring page.

This data is required to deliver the site and to keep it stable and secure (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data and is deleted after a short period. A data processing agreement including the EU standard contractual clauses is in place with Vercel.

The short silent video loop in the Video section is delivered from this host as well. Watching it involves no third party.

The switch in the header changes the site between its two modes. Your choice is stored as a single value in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This value never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and contains no personal data.

It is strictly necessary for a function you actively request (§ 165(3) TKG 2021) and therefore requires no consent. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how this site is used — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and how often the music video is started here. The service works without cookies and without persistent identifiers: visits are counted using an anonymized hash that cannot be traced back to you and expires automatically. No profiles are created and no tracking across other websites takes place.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding the reach of this site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The Music section offers an embedded Spotify player. It does not load automatically. Until you actively click play, no connection to Spotify is made and no data leaves this page. The small note beside the player tells you this before you click.

Only when you click play does the player load from Spotify AB (Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden). From that point Spotify may receive your IP address and set its own cookies, and processes this under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Playback counts toward the track's streams on Spotify.

The Video section offers the official music video through an embedded YouTube player in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). It does not load automatically. Only when you click play does the player load from YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). From that point YouTube may receive your IP address, store cookies or similar information on your device, and process this under Google's own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Playback counts toward the video's views on YouTube.

If you leave your email address in the Signal section, we send you one transmission per release. Nothing else.

We use the newsletter service Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a US provider; your email address is stored there, protected by the EU standard contractual clauses. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email, and only your confirmation completes the subscription. Transmissions are sent from signal@sestinna.world.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time — every email contains an unsubscribe link, or write to signal@sestinna.world. After unsubscribing, your address is removed from the list.

If you contact studio@sestinna.world or press@sestinna.world, we process the data you provide (your address, the content of your message) solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted once the matter is settled, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.

The typefaces on this site are hosted on our own server. Viewing this site triggers no requests to third-party font services.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw any consent with effect for the future.
